A fantastic result for the 1s this Saturday at home. A victory that pushes them up into the pack and close to the middle of the table! With only three games to go until the end of the season, it's heating up in Counties 3 Kent!
NAG got off to the perfect start with an early try from Calum on the wing, linking with Rutchit to come from out wide before scoring under the posts. Andrew scored a quick brace, one from a well worked maul from a lineout and the other from a strong carry close to the opposition line. Billy finished off the four try bonus point before half time and NAG went into the break 26-14 up.
A strong second half with tries from Calum, Billy and an excellent team score that started in our own half cemented our lead in the match and a strong defensive shift kept Old Dunstonians from scoring their fourth try - a point which could prove pivotal come the end of the season.
Karl picked up another man of the match performance, the leader of NAG's defensive effort!
